Solid polycarbonate sheets offer the optical clarity of glass but at less than half the weight. With over 200x more impact resistance, solid polycarbonate is suitable in environments where safety is paramount. Polycarbonate has a class 1 fire rating that is significantly better than acrylic, making it ideal for use in public areas.

Easily fabricated, solid polycarbonate offers good UV protection, which is why it is often used for conservatories, greenhouses and protecting substances vulnerable to harmful UV rays.

Our solid polycarbonate sheets are available in clear, translucent or opaque and come with a choice of tints and colours. With up to 90% light transmittance, solid polycarbonate can be used as a clear protective material so you don’t have to compromise on aesthetics.
